History

Coconut wood craft is found in the southern states of Kerala and Karnataka where coconut trees are in abundance. The use of coconut wood and shell to make decorative items and home accessories has taken off in the last few decades or so.

The craftsman has finished this item well to give the shell a smooth, glossy surface.
