How do I buy items online at RareIndianArt.com ?

Quick Guide:

· Login with your email id and password if you are a Returning Member

· For new members, register through Quick Sign up by giving just your email id and a unique password.

· Once you login, add items to your Shopping Cart.

· If satisfied with your cart contents, proceed to checkout. You will be prompted to enter address for shipping your order. View the shipping charges for the selected destination and your cart selection, by clicking on Shipping Estimator.

· Proceed to enter payment details and selection of Payment Method (Paypal/ CC Avenue-payment processing gateway)

· Selection of payment method will take you to a page provided by Paypal/ CC Avenue where you will be prompted to enter your card information. (Payment details are secure, verified by Verisign)

· Submit your payment through chosen payment method and you will get your final order confirmation with your order number.

Do you have special terms for bulk/wholesale/institutional buyers?

We welcome queries from bulk/wholesale/institutional buyers and can also custom-make some items (e.g handicrafts items) for large buyers. Please contact us at support@rareindianart.com for more details.

If I order a gift through your site, can it be delivered directly to the recipient?

Yes. You just need to provide the address of the recipient when you place the order, and it will be delivered directly. We will also gift-wrap the item if you so wish. Before you checkout the item/s you wish to be sent as gifts, you will find a box next to the item which you must check if you want it gift wrapped. If there are multiple items in your cart, and you have special instructions regarding gift-wrapping the items separately/jointly, please convey these instructions using the ‘Special Instructions for Gift-Wrapping’.

What discounts do you offer?

We offer discounts to members based on the cumulative value of the purchases made by them. There are three categories of members :

GOLD: Members who make cumulative purchases of above $500/ Rs. 20,000 are part of the GOLD category. They are entitled to discount of 30% on purchases made above this amount.

SILVER: Members who make cumulative purchases of above $250/ Rs. 10,000 are part of the SILVER category. They are entitled to discount of 20% on purchases made above this amount.

CLASSIC: Members who make cumulative purchases of above $100/ Rs. 4,000 are part of the CLASSIC category. They are entitled to discount of 10% on purchases made above this amount.

What are the payment options available at RareIndianArt.com?

There are 2 Payment Methods to choose from:

· Paypal

· CC Avenue

Paypal and CC Avenue enable you to use a variety of credit cards including Visa, Master, Citibank, Amex, Discover, JCB & Diner’s Club.

In addition, CC Avenue provides the facility to make payment through Net Banking with a no. of Indian banks including ICICI Bank, IDBI, PNB, HDFC Bank, Canara Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Karur Vysya Bank, ABN Amro Bank, Axis Bank, SBI, J&K Bank, Bank of Rajasthan, Indusind Bank, Yes Bank, Citibank, Oriental Bank of Commerce, Corporation Bank, Centurion Bank and Union Bank of India. You can also pay using the Paymate Mobile payments service via the CC Avenue gateway.

Are there extra charges for payments made through credit card?

How do your guarantee safe shopping in terms of payments?

Payments are processed through secure online gateways i. e Paypal and CC Avenue. Both are Verisign secured and use 128 bit encryption to transmit your credit card information in an encrypted form over the net. So you can be sure that your credit card information will not be misused and you are safe from the risk of credit card fraud.

Are there any extra charges for shipping and handling?

All prices shown are exclusive of shipping and handling charges. Shipping and handling charges are calculated based upon approximate weight of the item, the destination and the shipping option. These charges are displayed to you, once you check out but before you confirm the order.

What are your delivery terms?

The order is shipped by FedEx courier Service or India Speed Post service (you can choose between the two) within 24 hours of receiving the confirmed order with payment. All confirmed orders received by 5:30 AM EST are shipped the same working day except on Sundays. Please note that the order is delivered within 5-6 business days to the recipient.

However, there can be an instance when an expensive item or an order of large quantity is placed which might take some time to procure and this can present delays to the shipment of your order. In such a situation you will be informed of the nature of delay and expected timeframe regarding shipment of your order.

Kindly note that normally US and other European Countries do not levy custom duties on our products. But if the destination country decides to levy custom duties, you will be requested to bear the charges.

Do you have a return policy?

Please note that a return is made in case of any of the following:

· Damaged items getting delivered

· Delivery of wrong items – not according to your order

How long does it take for my order to be delivered?

Shipment will take 5-6 business days. All confirmed orders received by 5:30 AM EST are couriered the same working day except on Sundays.

However, there can be an instance when an expensive item or an order of large quantity is placed which might take some time to procure and this can present delays to the shipment of your order. In such a situation you will be informed of the nature of delay and expected timeframe regarding shipment of your order.

When the order is shipped, the complete shipping details of the order along with the airway bill of the courier service are sent to you via email.

Can I create my own online gallery of items at RareIndianArt.com for viewing later?

Yes, as a registered member at RareIndianArt.com you enjoy the option of creating your own virtual online gallery for keeping your wish list and items you want to add to your collection. When you login, you can add items to your Shopping cart and save this cart. You can also save multiple carts. Even after you logout, when you login again, items saved in your shopping cart will be restored.

Do you have any special privileges for members?

· You are entitled to discounts based on the cumulative value of your purchases.

Do you send paintings framed or without frames?

In order to keep shipping costs low, we send paintings without frames, in a rolled fashion with adequate packaging to prevent the rolled painting from getting damaged in transit. If you wish to have us frame the painting for you, please get in touch with us at support@rareindianart.com with details of the painting/s you want framed. We will revert to you with frame choices, and approximate framing and shipping costs.

Do I need to be a member to buy items on your site?

Yes. You are welcome to browse the site as a Guest, but if you wish to purchase any items through the site, you need to first register as a member.

Do you undertake orders for Corporate Gifts?

Yes. We can custom-design items for sending as Corporate Gifts and also include your company’s name, logo etc. Please email us at support@rareindianart.com and we will revert to you with our catalog of corporate gifts or we can custom-design something for you based on your preferences.
